Certified Six Sigma Green Belt is a most demanding standard to define the business strategy is to improve the quality and processes in industry. Certified Six Sigma Green Belt course is designed to provide the insight understanding for techniques and tools required to validate customer requirements during improvement of process quality rather than controlling product quality.
Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) is aligned with ASQ Body of Knowledge with focusing upon all the aspects of D-M-A-I-C.
After completing this course you are eligible to attempt the IASSC Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB). This certificate validates a professional to use Lean Six Sigma Methodology to improve projects and to use standard principles of Lean.

Course Objective

After completing this course you will be able:
To perform process quality management
To use the standard principles of Lean
To learn how to measure, analyze and improve quality of process at different phases of project.

Prerequisites

There is no formal prerequisite to attend this course and to sit for the IASSC Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Exam.

  • 1.1 Introduction to six sigma
  • 1.2 Voice of customer, Voice of Process
  • 1.3 Project Management
  • 1.4 Balanced score card and project selection
  • 1.5 DMAIC stages and introduction to 12 step methodology
  • 1.6 Fundamentals of statistics - Mean, Median, Mode, Histogram, Standard Deviation, Z-Curve and area estimation, central limit theorem, sample and population, estimation, Introduction to minitab
  • 2. Module

  • 2.1 Define – Identify CTQ characteristics, Descriptive statistics, Goal validation, Define defects, unit, set target performance, operation definition, Project charter, SIPOC, ARMI, GRPI model, version of processes and type of process, QFD,
    Measure- designing measurement, develop data collection sheet and plan, Measurement System Analysis for continues data and attribute data, Use of minitab
  • 3. Module

  • 3.1 Measure- Calculating sigma level, defining performance objective, process capability and statistical process control, Confidence intervals, etc
  • 3.2 Analyse – Process mapping, VA & NVA analysis, FMEA, Graphical plot (Box plot, scatter plot, Pareto, histogram etc. using minitab)

    4. Module

  • 4.1 Analyse –Correlation & Regression, Test of hypothesis (t test, chi square test, F test, Anova etc.) C&E diagram, validation tools,
  • 4.2 Improve – generating solution, validation solutions, mistake proofing, evaluate new capability, sigma level and baseline, quick changeover, Pull system (in case candidates from manufacturing),
  • 4.3 Control – Control plan, Audit plan, monitoring and response plan, financial benefit evaluation
  • 4.4 Selection of tools during project
  • 4.5 Toll Gate review
